I heard an unusual whirring sound just now (Journal)

I just heard this weird and quite strange sound coming from one of our neighbours near our farm. I’m not sure what the noise is but it sounded like a low humming sound, almost like a cutter, not sure.

Weirdly enough, was watching a horror film before putting the dogs in the garden for their last pee and poos of the day only to hear a weird sound coming from the other side of the lake, where my other neighbour is just shy beyond a forest. Could be something or nothing.

I don’t know.

Will keep an ear open tonight, I reckon.

Update: Turns out it was a helicopter circling overhead nearby. They sometimes do flybys but not always.

Sybil the puppy was born in Whitby, Yorkshire, 2 years ago on this day. She’s my bestie forever.

Sybil is a purebred Labrador Retriever born from an award-winning Crufts family.

Today, my mum and dad bought me my first ever vehicle - a ride-on lawn tractor, essentially it’s a tractor but for lawn mowing but the difference between a tractor and a mower is that a tractor has a tow bar and can be used for other agricultural purposes other than mowing lawns. I’m now a proud vehicle owner for the first time ever in my life!! It’s this year’s model as well and bought brand new (slightly used, just) and mum and dad bought it for me for £640 and it has no VAT. Yay! I’m now a proud owner of a vehicle.

Ok, here are the facts. It’s a 2023 Mountfield 827M, 224cc STIGA petrol engine, Mountfield Red Livery, 66 cm cutting deck and a 200 litre grass collector. It also comes with a mulching plug, though I wouldn’t be using that as I live on a farm and livestock, along with dogs, do not benefit from mulching, in fact it’s bad for them, so I’ll be avoiding that. It also has a tow hitch as well, should I ever need to tow a small flat trailer. I’m very excited to start mowing.

I had a weird dream last night. My dream was me and my mum walking through a field of red roses and I saw loads of Frisian cows stood on top pastel blue houses. I felt at peace and calmness filled the air. The cows were definitely funny being on top of houses, it doesn’t make sense, yet my mind made it feel that way.

Dreams can be really vivid and interesting, they are often full of symbolic imagery and it's natural to wonder what they mean. A lot of dream analysis is very personal.

If you put it all together, the dream could be about a time in my life when I felt a strong sense of love and security (the roses and my mum), but there might also be an underlying feeling of things being a little strange or chaotic (the cows on the houses). It's a beautiful mix of warm, loving imagery and some more unusual, thought-provoking symbolism!

Bizarre Sound (Journal)

Woke up to hear a massive whirring sound which continued through the rest of the night, making it a disturbed sleep for me. I heard the same sound yesterday afternoon at 3:20 pm while on the field near my house but there wasn’t any vehicles out yesterday. Bizarre.

Dream

I just woke up from a bizarre dream. Me and my mum were walking, I heard a wolf growl and bark but couldn’t see them, maybe they were in the bushes? We ran towards the nearby train station, we jumped across the train station platform to the other side, then I heard a teenage girl screaming and then I saw a driverless train approaching from the forest without any train tracks. I felt a sense of urgency but not sure why and I felt happy because my mum was there but the dream as a whole makes me feel anxious and scared.

What was fun about today

I played with my puppy Sybil. We played ball rolling games, hiding her treats in the living room, cuddles and kisses. It’s always fun spending time with someone you love. Journal Entry via Apple Journal

I learnt about a new art style

Today, I learnt of a new art style called sumi-e, which is a Japanese art style using rice paper and soot based ink using just a reference of a landmark, scenery, landscape, animal or object and nothing else. What was fun about today

Today was a great day. I opened up some of my presents as dad is off to work tomorrow. I’m turning 35 tomorrow. Watched the film Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald with mum and dad. I did some video editing and watched a fan made film of Uncharted. Journal Entry via Apple Journal

The electric went out today

The electric went out today at the same time the eggs decided to hatch. So we put the fire on and played mother hen with our chickens and eggs between our legs just to keep them warm. Journal Entry via Apple Journal

Fallout 76 Reveal

If anyone saw the Fallout 76 reveal at the BE3 online, like I did, that one guy in the audience shouting "Yeah!!" when Todd said that the game will feature multiplayer, that's when I knew that the game was going to be a flop. Looks great on graphics and locations but the failed previous attempt of making Fallout as an online multiplayer didn't go well. Maybe Bethesda shouldn't make multiplayers because they obviously suck at that attempt. Their stories in games however makes up for their poor attempts at making multiplayer titles. My opinion.

Dream

One time, I was in such a deep dream that I thought I saw myself sleeping. I reached out to touch myself sleeping and I knew I felt a hand and I quickly woke up. Nothing was there. It was 2 in the morning. I couldn't get back to sleep. I spoke to someone who knows about the dead and he said it was me reaching out for myself in the Lucid Dream world.

Dream

Scary dream/nightmare. I was with a few people and then we hid up in some abandoned little diner-style cafe overlooking a square, plaza. While waiting here, I found some scorpions, one of them attempted to kill a friend and it cut open my friends back to get to the juice. We killed it and ran away.

I dunno which friend it was, though. Finally got out of the cycle of nightmare, escaped across the rooftops to a rooftop overlooking a Naval Base. Unknown location, so bare with me. Managed to get to ground level and ran 1 block before panting out of breath. At this point, we rested at a bar and I ordered a beer, unknown brand. It tasted sweet and sugary, green bottle, red cap. When I woke up, I could taste beer froth on my mouth but I’ve never drank beer before going to bed last night. Weird. I did feel rather happy for the rest of the morning and throughout the rest of the day.

Playing on my Guitar is getting Better

Today I was playing on my guitar at Notes Studios again. I'm getting so much better at playing on my guitar this month than I have ever done in my entire life except for last year when my friend Sean taught me how to play. I can now physically play the James Bond Theme song. It's still early days, so I could become better at playing the theme song in a few more months or by next year.

Definitely a good thing, I'm starting to hear the music too. Who knew I had music flowing through my veins!

My First Professional Guitar Lesson

 Today I started my guitar lessons with a professional tutor named Phil Martin at Notes Studios in North Shields here in the North East of England. The program I'm with is a charity called Access Music, run by Martin O'neons, who is also a friend of Phil's but both Martin and Phil used to open up for INXS at INXS's first Wembley Stadium concert.

Journal

I have Autism and ADHD and everyday presents a challenge. I don't really like going outside in Newcastle - upon - Tyne as much for many reasons. Public transport is hard to understand, socially talking with someone is sometimes hard as I don't know when the best time to interrupt someone is, counting money is always my personal challenge and shopping is hard.

Don't get me wrong, I love going outside and meeting new people and interacting with the world. I go horse riding, I take photos, I make artwork, I read books (currently reading: Dan Brown's Digital Fortress), I enjoy films, playing video games (currently: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim), visiting museums and art galleries and doing other rewarding activities.

My dad said that my Autism is an obstacle that I myself have to overcome. I respect his opinion and it has helped shaped me into the 26 year old Autistic man that I am.

Every city needs to sort things out to make it more accessibility friendly, not just here in the UK - the whole world needs to understand more about disabilities.

I have received the 2003 Winner of the SSAFA Young Achiever Award (for helping someone else who has Autism - taught him to make friends and to socialise and I observed him from a distance), I have received the 2011 North East Autism Society Award for completing the 200ft Abseil from the top of The Vermont Hotel on World Autism Awareness Day. I'm proud to have received these awards and hopefully, many more to come.

My sister Tabitha’s boyfriend, Dean, just gave me his PS3, which he says I can use his account to play PS Plus games. Nice!

So today, I decided to play on Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, it’s really cool and a lot of fun.
