This guide includes all of the in-game version of The Freedom Trail and its locations.
The markers at specific locations are used for a tumbler dial inside the basement of the Old North Church and the code spells out the word RAILROAD which is used on the tumbler dial and the dial itself is used to gain access to The Railroad’s HQ. Below are all of the locations on The Freedom Trail including those not used during the faction quest. All of them have been included for posterity and exploration purposes. You can find two videos below which shows you the full length of The Freedom Trail.

- The Freedom Trail Starting Point: start off at the entrance to the Boston Common on Tremont Street
- NPS Boston Common: The Boston Common also includes the Swann Lake and MBTA Park Street Station
- > Freedom Trail Marker "7 and A": In the code RAILROAD, the seventh letter is A, useful reminder for later
- MBTA Park Street Station: Here is the first ever public subway station in the United States of America
- > Freedom Trail Marker "4 and L": In the code RAILROAD, the fourth letter is L
- Massachusetts "New" State House: Originally the site of John Hancock’s home and farmstead before he became governor and a statesman, for which he later became one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. The building is home to the state and houses the state government library, archives and as well as legislative offices
- Park Street Church (Unmarked): This church is famous for its burial ground as well as its weekly service held for mass
- NPS Old Granary Burying Ground: Home to famous local people including Benjamin Franklin
- > Freedom Trail Marker "2 and A": In the code RAILROAD, the second letter is A
- The New-England Courant Newspaper Building (Unmarked): On the corner stretch leading to Goodneighbor, literally facing it on the left hand side on the road, the building was home to the first public newspaper company, The New-England Courant, which was established and founded by Benjamin Franklin’s brother. In real life, this building is home homeless people
- > Freedom Trail Marker "6 and O": We now arrive in front of Goodneighbor, a major settlement, for which we find the next code. In the code RAILROAD, the sixth letter is O
- Massachusetts "Old" State House (Goodneighbor): Goodneighbor is home to the watering hole known as The Third Rail, based inside the former MBTA Scollay Square Station, which is underneath the Old State House on Queen Street. During the American Revolution, the street was originally called King Street, as it was still under the crown and kingship, as per the legislation for New-England at the time before the uprising. The building in real life is home to the heritage society that is responsible for maintaining The New-England Courant as well as a publicly accessible museum about the building and its important role for the city
- Old Corner Bookstore: Home to thousands of books and some of the most notable writers of the 17th Century were frequently visiting this building
- > Freedom Trail Marker "3 and I": In the code RAILROAD, the third letter is I
- NPS Faneuil Hall: The first public market in New-England and the United States of America, named after its designer, a French architect. The hall is still used today and was originally home to the Sons of Liberty for their weekly meetings
- > Freedom Trail Marker "5 and R": In the code RAILROAD, the fifth letter is R
- NPS Samuel Adams Statue (Unmarked): The President of the Sons of Liberty movement’s statue can be seen in front of Faneuil Hall
- > Freedom Trail Marker "8 and D": In the code, the eighth letter is D
- NPS Paul Revere's House (Unmarked): The house of Paul Revere, one of the Midnight Riders who was tasked with alerting the militia of incoming British forces, by land and by sea
- NPS Paul Revere Mall (Unmarked): Not exactly a mall but a square in the back of the Old North Church
- NPS Old North Church (The Railroad HQ): This church is famous for its bell tower and being part of the Midnight Riders
- > Freedom Trail Marker "1 and R": In the code RAILROAD, the first letter is R
- NPS Copp's Hill Burying Ground: This burial ground is home to famous locals
- Charlestown Patriot Bridge (Unmarked): This bridge leads directly to Charlestown from the Copp’s Hill area of North End. The bridge has a direct route to Bunker Hill Monument
- NPS Bunker Hill Monument (Bunker Hill): This monument was constructed to honor those who fought for freedom during the American Revolutionary War in Charlestown. In the game, this is home to a major trading hub settlement for the Commonwealth Caravaners. The red bricked trail ends here, but there is more on the trail that’s not marked by a trail marker or path
- NPS USS Constitution: Head towards Charlestown Naval Yard to find a tall ship stuck in a building. After fixing their ship, it’ll land, ironically, in a building in the city of Boston on the other side of the Charles River
- NPS Charlestown Naval Yard (Unmarked): This famous naval yard is home to USS Constitution, both in game and in real life
- First Public Church of Boston (Unmarked): Travelling westward on the map and you’ll come to a church, unmarked. In real life, this church is called the First Public Church of Boston, this church is on Putnam Street in Charlestown
