Submission Rules

  • Only photograph submissions of living animals will be accepted
  • Animals should be centred in the photograph
  • Photographs captured using camera filters or borders will not be eligible for submission
  • Selfies are NOT eligible for submission
  • All image rights are transferred to the Southern San Andreas State Tourist Board



List of Animals to Photograph

  • Boar: A Boar will always run out of a tree on the dirt track and cul-de-sac of the Sonar Collections Dock
  • Border Collie: Found in Paleto Bay near the beach near Beeker’s Garage and residences in Harmony
  • Cat: Most alleyways in Los Santos
  • Chicken-Hawk: Found in Blaine County and flying overhead at Martin Madrazo’s Lock-Up (north of Martin Madrazo’s Mansion in La Fuente Blanca in Los Santos County and south of Redwood Lights Track in the Grand Senora Desert in Blaine County). Sometimes flys overhead near to the side of Ursula’s House facing towards the El Gordo Lighthouse
  • Cormorant (Great Cormorant): Can be easily found on the Zancudo River near Route 68 and near the Great Ocean Highway in Lago Zancudo
  • Cow: Found at Grapeseed Cow Farm on O’Neil Way and Seashore Road in Grapeseed
  • Coyote: Found in desert regions such as Sandy Shores, particularly around the Abandoned Motel at night
  • Crow: Found flying above You Tool on Senora Freeway in San Chianski Mountain Range
  • Deer: Found in the forested areas of Blaine County, particularly the Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness and Paleto Forest
  • Hen: Found in a pen near The Hen House in Paleto Bay
  • Husky: Found in Vinewood Hills Dog Exercise Park on North Sheldon Avenue in Vinewood Hills
  • Mountain Lion: Found in forested areas throughout San Andreas. One will always spawn near the yoga mat at the top of Mount Gordo
  • Pig: Found at Grapeseed Cow Farm on O’Neil Way and Seashore Road in Grapeseed
  • Poodle: Found on Del Perro Beach and Vinewood Boulevard
  • Pug: Found walking around the Rockford Hills Sign and in Mirror Park
  • Rabbit: Found in the Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness and Paleto Forest
  • Retriever: Found in Vinewood Hills Dog Exercise Park on North Sheldon Avenue in Vinewood Hills
  • Rottweiler: You can photograph Chop for this
  • Seagull: Found flying in the air at coastline areas such as Vespucci Beach and also in Paleto Bay
  • West Highland Terrier: Found in Mirror Park near the small lake and at the Vinewood Hills Dog Exercise Park on North Sheldon Avenue in Vinewood Hills

Glossary

  • Set: A round in a match
  • Game: A unit in a set
  • Set Point: The winning point of a set
  • Game Point: The winning point of a game
  • Match Point: The winning point of a match
  • Point: A score made by a player
  • Deuce: When the score reaches deuce, one player or team will need to win at least two points in a row to win a set, a game or a match
  • Advantage / AD: The score given to a player when they win the next point after a game goes to deuce
  • Double Fault: The point is automatically won by the receiver
  • Ace: add
  • Backhand: add
  • Topspin: Topspin or overspin is a property of a ball that rotates forwards as it is moving. Topspin on a ball propelled through the air imparts a downward force that causes the ball to drop, due to its interaction with the air
  • Drop Shot: A drop shot is when you hit the ball softly over the net so it lands short in the court. It's best to hit a drop shot when the opponent is standing somewhere back behind the baseline or out of position. A good drop shot will land barely over the net
  • Tennis Racket: Sporting equipment used for playing tennis
  • Umpire: An official person who ensures that a match or tournament is conducted according to the International Tennis Federation Rules of Tennis and other competition regulations



How to Play

Tennis is played by winning points. Forty points to a game, six games to a set, best of three sets to a match and best of five sets to a championship match.
