Real Life Location of the Microsoft Windows XP Hillside Wallpaper (Real Filming Locations)

The real life location is along a highway in California. Charles, the photographer who took the photos, saw the hillside and thought it would make a great shot. It was later used by Microsoft as the default wallpaper on Windows XP. It was featured in the Amateur Photographer magazine. CLICK HERE to see the location on Google Maps.
