Benevolent Leader Trophy - Fallout 4 Guide

Trophy Guide by Warren Woodhouse

Guide for how to easily unlock the Benevolent Leader trophy, however you’ll need to have the following DLCs installed: Far Harbor DLC and Vault-Tec Workshop DLC or alternatively have either the Game of the Year Edition installed or the Anniversary Edition installed, as the Vault-Tec Workshop DLC installed and a large settlement that isn’t glitched (glitched settlement: Sanctuary Hills). Far Harbor offers very expansive and large settlements, most notably Old Longfellow’s Cabin. Old Longfellow’s Cabin offers panoramic scenic views and vistas and a valuable way to build a large settlement easily, as it barely attracts attention from enemies.

Follow my trophy guide video carefully for a more detailed explanation on how to unlock this trophy.

What you will Need

  • 1x Large Settlement
  • 1x Bar
  • 2x Settlers
  • Lots of Junk, Aid, Weapons, Ammo and Apparel stored in the Workshop
  • 3x Phoropters (DLC Required: Vault-Tec Workshop)
  • 1x Corn, Tato and Melon for farming
  • Lots of Defense features

Guide

You can use the DLCs for this as well. I used 5 settlers in my Longfellow’s Cabin settlement, then when it reached 97 percent happiness, I then moved 3 of the settlers including the companion, Longfellow, to the Dalton Farm settlement. So I left 2 settlers in the Longfellow’s Cabin settlement, with 6 food, 293 water, 131 power, 287 defense, 27 beds and originally with 5 settlers I managed to get to 97 percent by sleeping and waiting repeatedly for 3 in-game months, then it started to drop by 97 happiness. so I moved 3 of the settlers away from the settlement and then one settler set to food and the other was set to a phoropter and I went about the usual business away from the settlement and 2 in-game days later back in The Commonwealth, I unlocked the platinum trophy.

Issues, Glitches and Bugs

  • Sanctuary Hills Happiness Rating Bug: Happiness Rating drops once you reached 98% Happiness Rating
  • Provisioner Happiness Rating Bug: Make sure you don’t have any Provisioners in your settlement as this causes the happiness rating to drop very quickly

How to Cure Molerat Disease - Fallout 4 Guide

Guide by Warren Woodhouse

About the Disease

Molerat Disease is only seen in Fallout 4 and the disease occurs when you're bitten by an infected Molerat, even if the Molerat isn't mutated.

Once infected, the disease spreads at an alarming rate through your entire body and increases Radiation Sickness by 10 RADS. However, the Cure is listed below.

How to Cure Molerat Disease

Once you bring the Vault 81 Cure to Dr. Forsythe, when the options appear onscreen (Select "Keep It For Yourself"), Dr. Forsythe will then ask if you're sure about your option. Instead, don't select anything right now and break out of the dialogue cutscene by shaking the camera left or right until you can move about, then open your PipBoy and go to Aids and then select "Vault 81 Cure". Wait until the message "Vault 81 Cure has worn off." which appears in the top left corner of the screen. Once the message disappears, talk to Dr. Forsythe and select "Give Cure" and the Cure works on Austin and yourself.

How to get into the Secret Room on the roof of The Gwinnett Brewery - Tips & Tricks - Fallout 4 Guide

Video & Guide by Warren Woodhouse

Here’s a video I’ve made showing you how to enter the secret room on the roof of The Gwinnett Brewery in Fallout 4. You’ll need to go through the restaurant and the adjacent factory section which has a door with access to the roof. From there, you’ll need to shoot the lock off of the black and yellow barrier and the door to the secret stash room will open up. Not much in the room though. The room is literally on the rooftop exterior. The video shows you the best angle for shooting the lock on the door. This tip also works for other various locks throughout The Commonwealth, one of them is near The Railroad HQ, specifically nearest to Paul Revere Mall. Have a great day in The Commonwealth my fellow Wanderers.

Prospect Hill - Locations - Fallout 4 Guide

Video & Guide by Warren Woodhouse.

Prospect Hill is a location mentioned in P.A.M.'s terminal entry 2284 found at The Railroad HQ. The location in the real world is shy north of Cambridge but in-game- I've discovered that the location is home to a small Raider camp and what appears to be a small town. Nearby is Wattz Consumer Electronics.

It seems to be, from what I can tell in the terminal entry, that Patriot, an Institute character who helps out The Railroad, has provided coded holotape messages that provide specific instructions for safe passage from The Institute grounds to a safe drop-off location, in this case Prospect Hill. Not much else is provided about the location in game however a Wikipedia article about Prospect Hill is available. Apparently its a historic hill in Somerville, MA. -- which is part of Charlestown. It has a small public square called Union Square, which was originally called Sand Pit Hill. Other mentioned only locations include The Bolthole, The Beast, The Farm (south of Parson's Insane Asylum) and Randolph, all Railroad safehouses at one point or another.

Do you know any mentioned only locations in Fallout 4 or Fallout 3 that actually appear in the game?

Here's a video I've created showing you where Prospect Hill is in Fallout 4.
