Redesigned for use on Blogger, alongside the original colour scheme.

Dream

• Date of Dream: 14th June 2004

My first death-related dream experience of my pet, Gem, a Shih Tzu-Lhasa Apso cross. 4 months ago, in a dream I had at night, I wasn't paying attention to the design of the place I was in, I was more concerned with what she was telling me as this resonated attention.

As we spoke, her voice felt like she was preparing me. She said that I should spend more time with her, wants to hear my voice telling her I love her. She also said for me to not come when she is going to be “put to sleep” and that my thoughts should be reviewed at that time. I woke up. Spent tons of time with her. 4 months later, she lost her hearing and went blind. Mum said it was time for Gem to pass peacefully. A week later, I cried in Art Class at school. I couldn’t hold myself together. I still miss her but I see her face and her kindness everyday in all of the pets I’ve ever had. I thank Gem for giving me a blessing and a heartache.

SSAFA Young Achiever 2003 Award

Today, I received the SSAFA Young Achiever 2003 Award. Presented to me by Major General Peter Sheppard, photo sessions for the Sixth-Sense Newspapers (British Forces in Germany Press) included both Peter Sheppard and BFBS Television 1 and BFBS Radio 1 presenter, DJ Simeon "Sim" Courtie.
